Boyd "Rich" Johnson is a seasoned law enforcement professional from Arizona who now serves with FirstNet as the Western Operations Chief, having responded to some of the most devastating emergency response events in the US over the past few months to ensure public safety has reliable communication when responding to community needs in the worst of circumstances.

With over a decade of experience in the public safety industry, Brad Jensen has dedicated his career to making our communities safer through innovative technology solutions. As an accomplished Account Executive with a passion for driving growth and delivering exceptional customer service, he has developed a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by law enforcement agencies, emergency responders, and other critical organizations. He works with agencies across the state and nation on emerging trends and technologies to push the envelope and drive innovation.
Ka Wade serves as the Chief Privacy Officer leading privacy, partnerships and other business development for Biometrica working with regard to CSAM, trafficking, MMIP cases, and LE training where it intersects with Big Data, Technology and Privacy.
Ka has extensive experience working with large and small multicultural teams in different countries, across different industries. From 17 years in the media, a couple in construction, and her current role her perspective and view as a woman in tech is fascinating.
The past nine years her focus has been on software and data to support public and workplace safety, with a focus on mitigating risk and protecting children and at-risk groups in real time, while protecting privacy and civil rights.

Major Cartier has a distinguished career with the Arizona Department of Public Safety, currently serving as the Commander over Human Resources. He leads internships and apprentice programs for future law enforcement professions, engaging them in technological opportunities and advancement connected to law enforcement. AzDPS has in attracting new employees through their investment in modernization, cloud migration, infrastructure development, and more!
Navigating Change in Technological Times -
A transformational leader with 14 years in policing, Matt combines operational expertise with a passion for building strong organizational cultures. Currently serving as a Lieutenant at the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office, he lead smultiple detention operations teams, supervising sergeants and 50+ deputies while ensuring facility safety, security, and operational excellence.
Endeavoring to help agencies develop their workplace culture to "unearth the true boldness within," Lt. Davis works with executive leaders to navigate change, especially in the face of new and required technological advances.
Our Presenters will participate in a panel for the membership discussing current and future technological advances, policies, practices and mandates driving adoption, as well as the challenges and champions for innovation. Please come prepared with questions!
The 2025 Annual Conference will focus on Artificial Intelligence and Technology in Justice Professions. Please submit or nominate a speaker or presenter. Abstracts are due no later than January 31, 2025.
